| | Regional Exploration and ProductionProperty has favourable mafic volcanics, sediments and possible porphyries for hosting gold and copper mineralization. Historical high-grade copper vein was mined at the Copper King deposit on the property. The property consists of 13 claims and the main target is copper-gold mineralization similar to that of the Queenston Upper Beaver property. Ground geophysics has identified potential strike extension of the Copper King vein that will need to be tested by drilling and/or trenching. |
| |
| | Other Local ExplorationQueenston mining possesses the Upper Beaver Deposit which hosts approx. 1.3 million tons of 0.43% Cu and 9.3 g/t Au. The Lucky Strike is 5 kilometers northeast of the Upper Beaver Au, copper deposit. |
| |
| | Property GeologyThere is a keating anomaly located along a northwest trending feature which represents a potential kimberlite target. A gabbro/volcanic contact in the southeast portion of the property may hold some potential for PGMs. Airborne geophysics identifies a potential north-east structural trend on strike with Queenston Mining's Upper Canada gold deposit and their Upper Beaver gold-copper deposit. |

| | Historical HighlightsThe Forwood or Misema Lake showings on the property have had stripping, trenching and pitting completed by previous operators back as early as 1943. Trenches as long as 600 feet were put into quartz veins and stockworks. Two shafts of unknown depth are also located on the property. Some drilling has been conducted; however the results of the published work do not show any assays as the only drill records found are from 1960 before assays were required for assessment purposes. |
